How the Greek Culture Was Diffused Into Ancient Rome.
There are four features of Greek culture that the Romans adopted as their own.
Architecture.
The Romans adapted some of the Greeks architecture such as building temples for their gods and using columns to build them and build other buildings.
Writing.
The Romans also adopted a form of Greek writing, this influence was indirect because the Etruscans adopted and then later changed the writing and then the Romans borrowed and altered it from them, yet the Romans did directly adopt the way they wrote them; in all capital letters
Art.
Some art, the Romans adopted directly from the Greeks, yet some art they adopted indirectly after the etruscans altered them. The Romans and Etruscans admired Greek pottery, sculptures and paintings
Mythology
The early Romans had their own gods and rituals, but their view of their gads changed as they merged into other cultures. When the Romans learned about similar gads from other cultures, they added that god's characteristics to the ones of their own gods.
Two ways the Romans learned the Greek culture are:
Direct and indirect. Direct- Indirect-
In my opinion, the Greek cultural feature that was the most beneficial to the Romans was architecture because it is such a large priority in any society to have some type of architectural elements that are significant and are well structured, so buildings don’t collapse or wither.
