Places you might see some of the influence of Roman architecture and/or engineering are the capital building ( which has a dome), the hall of fame has an adapted dome, and some bridges have archs under them.
Today we still use some of the same architecture and engineering as the Romans such as the road, of course we have adapted it since the ancient Roman times but there are still some similarities between roads then and now. Today we use materials such as black top, concrete and other things that the Romans didn't have access to considering that they didn't have the technology that we do today, although there are some similar things as well; Roads today are still constructed to be flat on top of the roads and angled downward on the sides so that precipitation would run off the sides of the roads, almost like a drain.
